Bike Servicing from Velo-Tech®
A regular bike servicing program will not only keep your bicycle in top condition, it will help you maximise your cycling performance and keep you safe. Velo-Tech® offers a full range of services (detailed below), repairs and bike parts fitting by our professionally qualified and experienced bicycle mechanic. From a simple (but important) bike safety check to a full bike strip down and rebuild, we have a comprehensive service optoin to suit your requirement.
BIKE SERVICE 1
This ensures the safe running of the bike, prolongs the life of the components, especially the drive train. For regular cyclist – this is recommended every 6 months.
PRICE: £60 +parts
Includes:
Wipe down and full frame check
WHEELS:
– Hubs and rims checked for wear and damage
– Bearings checked
– Wheels trued
TYRES:
– Tread and side walls checked for wear and damage
– Inflation checked and adjusted
HEADSET/BOTTOM BRACKET:
– Checked for free movement, cleaned, re-lubricated and adjusted as necessary
DRIVETRAIN:
– Checked for free movement, cleaned, re-lubricated and adjusted as necessary
BRAKES:
– Checked and adjusted (+£10 for hydraulic brake bleed)
BIKE SERVICE 2
This ensures that all your brake and gear cables (especially 11-speed+ systems) remain in good condition and work effectively.
Where hydraulic brakes are fitted, it ensures the relevant brake fluid doesn’t degrade and become ineffective. For regular cyclists – this is recommended every 12 months.

BIKE SERVICE 3
This is a premium service. In addition to everything covered in Service 2&3, the bike is stripped right down to the frame. All components are removed and fully cleaned.
Recommended annually for cyclists who want to keep their bike in the best condition.
PRICE: £130 +parts
Full strip down to the frame and complete bike rebuild
*11 speed+ gear systems subject to supplementary charge – dependent on make and groupset
