SHIMANO<\/strong> CRANKSETS VOLUNTARY RECALL<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As of Monday, 2nd October 2023 Shimano has issued a voluntary inspection and, where appropriate, replacement on certain 11 speed HOLLOWTECH II cranksets produced between 2012 and 2019.\u00a0The following models are affected:\u00a0Dura Ace R9000,\u00a0Dura Ace R9100,\u00a0Dura Ace R9100P,\u00a0Ultegra R8000,\u00a0Ultegra R6800. This is also valid for any of these fitted with 4iiii Power Meters. \u00a0Further guidance and whether your cranks are affected can be found: HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0on Shimano’s website. If you have any of the above, Shimano advise NOT TO RIDE until they have been inspected. \u00a0<\/span>As an authorised Shimano dealer Velo-Tech is able to perform the inspection, at no cost to the rider and can take care of any identified that require replacement.
